Service agreements make sense for businesses when they are looking for predictable costs and predictable outage windows. The serviced agreement covers services for repairs under most circumstances. SERVICE CALLS Business Products Company will provide emergency service calls as reasonable requested by the customer at no additional charge for parts or labor. Service is to be performed during normal working hours (8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. daily) not including Saturdays, Sunday or Holidays. For service calls outside a 25 mile radius of the nearest Business Products Office, the customer will be billed at 49 cents per mile from the service office to the customer’s location and return. Business Products must be notified in writing whenever the geographical location of equipment changes. PARTS REPLACEMENT There will be no additional charge for normal replacement parts. This agreement does not include changing or adding toner, installation of accessories, or major overhauls. Abuse, accident, theft or damage to the machine or repairs by someone other than an authorized representative is not covered by this agreement. Damages include but are not limited to electrical surges, power failure, and low voltage. This agreement does not cover customer responsibilities according to the Manufacturers operators Manual. Service calls, labor costs, parts, developer, drums, feed tires or clutches WILL be covered under this agreement. PAPER OR TONER WILL NOT BE COVERED under this agreement.
